Man Utd wants Delph

Share
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has already missed out on young British prodigies Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey to Arsenal, but this time he is set to win the race to sign the next outstanding young British prodigy.

The left-winger has been under close observation from a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle, who made a bid for the 18-year-old earlier this year, but this was rejected by Leeds.

Delph has only played 21 first-team League games for Leeds, scoring three times, but Ferguson is willing to take the chance that he can become a star at Old Trafford, and now looks set to bag the Bradford-born player.

A Manchester United insider told The Sun, "It’s as certain as it gets that Fabian will be a Red in January. It’s a done deal."

The youngster has been making big news recently, with the country's big clubs excited about someone who could be the next Theo Walcott, so Sir Alex Ferguson will have to move fast in order to secure Delph's services.
